Deadline for e-filing 2010 Tax Returns – Extended

The official deadline for electronically filing 2010 individual tax returns has been extended from October 15th to October 17th. This date coincides with the due date for your clients that filed an extension request earlier in the year. The reason for the extension was due to the 15th falling on a weekend. If you are unable to get your clients return e-filed before this date, do not fear, you can still file them via paper filing methods. Bank products will allow for your fees to be pulled from clients refunds all the way through the October 17th deadline. If you have any questions relating to the end of the 2010 e-filing season, do not hesitate to give us a call at (866) 357-2052.
