New Federal Direct Partners should make sure that your EFIN applications have been processed.  These applications take aproximately 6 weeks for processing with the IRS and without an EFIN you cannot e-file return or offer bank products.  If you are not a CPA, EA, or Attorney, you will need to also complete a fingerprint card for the purpose of a background check.  This background check is to confirm your suitability for working within the IRS’ e-file system.  If your EFIN application has not yet been completed, please contact our office ASAP, to get this process underway.
